How to Enrol
If you live on the West Coast you should ensure you are enrolled with the PHO. If the medical centre you regularly visit is a member of the West Coast PHO, you probably are already a member and are entitled to the benefits.
If you are not enrolled you can enrol at a medical centre on the West Coast by completing an enrolment form. You can only enrol with one medical centre at a time. This doesn't mean you can't visit another medical centre but it means you won't receive cheaper visit fees when you go to another practice.
Benefits of enrolment
-
It'll cost you less to see your doctor or nurse.
-
Cheaper medical prescriptions.
-
Free (or reduced cost) access into PHO programme when you're referred.

The fees listed above are the fees you can expect to be charged at your normal practice during working hours for a normal consultation, if you are enrolled with the West Coast PHO. Additional fees may apply to after hours, weekends, long appointments, home visits, procedures and casual patients.
The West Coast PHO encourages all West Coast residents to enrol with the PHO, registering with one practice and using that practice for all their health needs. This ensures people will be offered all the health checks they should receive, as well as access to lower fees and other patient advantages. However, if people enrol with one practice and then utilise another they will incur a "casual" rate fee which can vary from practice to practice.
