How to enrol
If you live on the West Coast you should ensure you are enrolled with the PHO. If the medical centre you regularly visit is a member of the West Coast PHO, you probably are already a member and are entitled to the benefits.
If you are not enrolled you can enrol at a medical centre on the West Coast by completing an enrolment form. You can only enrol with one medical centre at a time. This doesn't mean you can't visit another medical centre but it means you won't receive cheaper visit fees when you go to another practice.
Benefits of enrolment
- It'll cost you less to see your doctor or nurse.
- Cheaper medical prescriptions.
- Free (or reduced cost) access into PHO programmes when you're referred.

The prices listed are all you'll pay when you attend a standard practice appointment in office hours and are enrolled at that practice. If you attend another practice you will incur a higher price to see a nurse or doctor.
